Field report about our KYBURZ DXPs in Australia
During our weekly video conference with representatives of the Australian Postal Service last week, a postman reported on his experience with the KYBURZ DXP. He exchanged his conventional motorbike for an all-electric DXP a few years ago. The feedback was extremely positive. Although the change from a conventional motorbike to an electric DXP took some getting used to at the beginning, he now definitely does not want to go back to his conventional motorbike. He mentions that the following key elements are important when switching to the DXP:
- Openness to the new vehicle
- Awareness that the DXP is a two-track vehicle.
On the positive side, delivery with the three-wheeled DXP is faster, easier and more comfortable compared to a two-wheeled vehicle. He is convinced that thanks to the DXP he can work ten years longer because he is physically exposed to less stress. Of course, there are still small things that can be improved: For example, optimising the rainwater drainage on the roof or the suspension, which could be a little softer.
We are always thrilled when we receive direct feedback from our end customers, the drivers. This helps us to better understand our customers and their handling of our vehicle and to further optimise and develop our vehicles.
Mobile Tourist Office in operation
The mobile tourism office - a KYBURZ DXS with trailer - is currently on the road throughout Switzerland. It is on the road in the destinations Davos Klosters, Thurgau Bodensee Region and Engadin St. Moritz and complements the existing guest information centres. The aim of the project is to bring more guest information to the guests and to increase the quality of service.
A video is also to be produced on this topic, which will be realised by the Ditoy agency.
The Engadin St. Moritz tourist region was chosen as the filming location - Sils to be precise. Alexandra Rothlin and Faro Alip from Ditoy set off for the Engadine early in the morning. They were welcomed by Isabella Pellegrino from Sils Tourism. "I am really happy to be part of the video," she said happily.
The weather even cooperated and the sun shone all day. After more than 8 hours of video shooting, the two made their long way home.
You will see the final result of the video in the next few weeks.
12 DXP distribute mail in Linz
Austrian Post held a press conference in Linz on 29.07.21. On the occasion of the commissioning of 12 KYBURZ DXP, the future orientation to make delivery completely CO2-free by 2030 was confirmed. Electric vehicles are at the forefront of the implementation of this climate goal. On the occasion of the press conference, there was a photo shoot with DI Peter Umundum, Member of the Management Board of Austrian Post responsible for Parcel & Logistics, and MMag. Klaus Luger, the Mayor of Linz and myself, Martin Kyburz. We are proud to be able to contribute to the implementation. In Linz, our DXP will be part of the street scene in the city in the future.
Our general importers from Japan visit us
Last Monday to Thursday, Mr Ueda, Mr Arima and Ms Hayashi from Japan visited us. Besides the training to become a B-Level Service Partner, the programme also included various product presentations, test drives and discussions regarding our cooperation. The social part was not neglected either. We hope that our visitors from Japan enjoyed the short stay and we are looking forward to the coming intensification of our cooperation.
Good to know:
Our partner in Japan used to operate under the name Eventas Co., Ltd. but they are currently in the process of renaming the company EVenters Co., Ltd. Remember this name, because from now on EVenters is the exclusive partner of KYBURZ in Japan!

Polecat and weasel are ready for the journey
Anyone who works in an office has certainly had them in their hands: The self-adhesive labels from HERMA. Wherever a product needs to be labelled or glued, HERMA is the specialist. HERMA attaches great importance to CO2 neutrality and the logistics use a KYBURZ DXC, sold by the KYBURZ reseller BEMOTEC in Reutlingen (DE).
To increase the transport capacity, an interchangeable box trailer with two interchangeable boxes is now added. The exchange boxes are not only numbered and provided with a barcode. They are labelled with individual names: "Weasel" and "Polecat". The two marten-like predators are ready for their journey to HERMA. So that they can really let off steam there!
